I AM NOW OFFICIALLY ACCEPTED INTO A UNIVERSITY!! And I tentatively have 43 credit hours already. This will be my second college I am going too. I already graduated a two-year with my Associates Degree in Applied Science with a Certification in Massage Therapy.
With my body being the way it has been, especially with my wrist having been fixed, I am a bit worried about my long term aspect in the field of Massage. So I have decided to go back to school. I am currently looking into an Undergraduate of Psychology (which is a Bachelor) or a Bachelor in Counseling. But I may double Major or minor (depending) in Integrative Holistic Medicine and/or Nutrition and Health. As I think a lot of the mental state can be helped with a healthy physical body.
Not saying ALL. But I know many, many, many people who when they are not fueled right get GROUCHY!
Also, even before my career as a MST was up in the air, I was looking into Holistic Medicine...so this has given me an opportunity to follow a dream. And if I can go back to Massage, then that means I can work while in school in a career I already know and really do love. If nothing else, I can make my friends by me food in exchange for massages <_< >_> I mean I don't do that....
So...next step is getting all the Financial Aid and Scholarships done (again), setting up an appointment, and getting everything else finalized. I probably won't do the Summer Semester, but come Fall I should be ready!
PEEPLEZ! I BE GONNA GO BACK TO DEH SKOOLZ!
